Πανάγος Σ. Δημήτριος

Ο Δημήτριος Σ. Πανάγος είναι ο επίσημος φωτογράφος της Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Αμερικής. Γεννημένος στον Πραγματευτή Κυνουρίας το 1958, μετανάστευσε με την οικογένειά του στις ΗΠΑ σε ηλικία 11 ετών.
Από το 1988 συνεργάζεται με τον «Ορθόδοξο Παρατηρητή» της Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Αμερικής, ενώ από το 1994 είναι ο ανταποκριτής του ΑΠΕ στη Νέα Υόρκη.
Φωτογραφίες του έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε εφημερίδες και περιοδικά στις ΗΠΑ, την Ελλάδα, την Κύπρο και παγκοσμίως. Ανάμεσά τους: «TIME Magazine», «Newsweek», «People», «Έθνος», «Τα Νέα», «Ελευθεροτυπία», «Πρωινή» και «Εθνικός Κήρυξ».
Είναι μέλος των National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA), Senate Press Photographers και της Ένωσης Φωτορεπόρτερ Ελλάδας.
Με τις φωτογραφίες του συνέβαλε στις εκδόσεις DIMITRIOS in the USA 1990 και IAKOVOS: The Making
of an Archbishop.

Dimitrios S. Panagos (b. 1958 in Pragmateftis, Greece) is the Official photographer of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. He emigrated with his family to New York at the age of 11.
He contributes to the Archdiocese’s “Orthodox Observer” since 1988 and is the corresponding photographer for “Athens News Agency” since 1994.
His work has been published in many news publications in the US, Greece, Cyprus and worldwide, including “TIME Magazine”, “Newsweek”, “People”, “Ethnos”, “Ta Nea”, “Eleytherotypia”, “Proini” and “The National Herald”.
He is a member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) and the Senate Press Photographers.
He was the main contributor for the books
DIMITRIOS in the USA 1990 and IAKOVOS: The Making of an Archbishop.
He is the co-publisher of the weekly “Greek News”.
